Flameshot for MAC

Free, open-source screenshot tool with built-in editing: arrows, text, blur, highlights and quick sharing.

Flameshot Overview

Flameshot is a free screenshot tool that lets you annotate your capture right after you take it. Select an area of the screen, and a toolbar appears around it with arrows, lines, boxes, text, a marker, numbered steps, blur and pixelate tools, so you can explain or hide parts of the image before saving it. You can then copy the screenshot to the clipboard, save it, pin it on top of other windows or upload it. Flameshot is developed by a community of volunteers and is popular on Linux, Windows and Mac.

Flameshot is free and open source under the GPL-3.0 license. There are separate downloads for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, and it can also be installed with Homebrew. On a Mac, Flameshot needs Screen Recording permission, which macOS asks for the first time you take a screenshot.
